Snoop Dogg Bobblehead Caper: ‘Rocco’ in Custody After Wild Restaurant Heist
A man named Rocco John Benedetto found himself in hot water after swiping a 3.5-foot Snoop Dogg bobblehead valued at $1,250 from a south Fort Myers restaurant lobby. The restaurant, Cantina Laredo, wasn’t letting this slide and vowed to press charges against the audacious bobblehead bandit.
However, Rocco had a change of heart, returning the stolen statue to the restaurant once news reports started circulating. Despite the restitution, Benedetto is currently behind bars at the Lee County Jail, facing a grand theft charge of less than $5,000.
It looks like Rocco tried to ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ but ended up getting caught because he couldn’t ‘Snoop’ out undetected. Guess you could say his stealth mode was more “Fo’ Shizzle” than “Incognito.”
