ST. PAUL, Minn. – A new program at Saint Paul College aims to address the growing demand for workers in Minnesota’s cannabis industry.
Program manager Brady Malecha said the cannabis education certificate comes with “wrap-up” around services, including career awareness and placement on a job board for careers in Minnesota.
Malecha said students can earn a certificate in cannabis retail, cultivation or product development in nine weeks. The certificate programs cost $750 each.
Retail sales are expected to begin in the state in 2025.
