BISMARCK, ND (KFGO) – The Bismarck Fire Department received a report for a structure fire. Fire crews were dispatched to the 2007 N 16th St just before ten on Saturday morning for a row of garages on fire.
The first arriving crew reported heavy smoke coming from a row of detached garages. Fire crews pulled hose lines and conducted forcible entry operations on several units. The fire was extinguished, and crews completed the overhaul and ventilation of all 16 garages.
The Bismarck Police assisted with traffic control. Metro Area Ambulance was on the scene to provide medical support. There were no injuries to residents or first responders.
The fire damage was confined to a few garages. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
