PARK RAPIDS, Minn. (KFGO) – Two people were critically injured in a crash on Highway 71 near Park Rapids Monday.
The State Patrol said a pickup was southbound on the highway when a car crossed the roadway. The driver of the pickup tried to avoid the crash by driving toward a ditch when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the car, 62-year-old Edward Adamec and his passenger, 38-year-old Jason Adamec, were transported to Sanford Health in Fargo with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup had minor injuries and was treated at the Park Rapids hospital. a passenger was not injured.
The four are from Park Rapids.
