WASHINGTON, D.C. – Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar is pushing to protect college students from hazing, something that has left one Minnesotan in debilitating condition.
Stop the Campus Hazing Act would require colleges’ annual crime reports to include hazing incidents as well as establish a campus-wide program to educate students on the danger of hazing.
The Santulli family of Eden Praire joined Klobuchar for their son, Danny, who is unable to walk, talk, and see after he and his pledge class at the University of Missouri were forced to each drink a bottle of hard liquor.
