ST. PAUL, Minn. – Starting Monday, all adult residents in Minnesota will be eligible to obtain a driver’s license or permit regardless of immigration status.
Around 80,000 people in the state are eligible for a driver’s license under the new law.
Opponents warned that it encourages illegal immigration.
