WINDOM, Minn. – A southwest Minnesota man is hospitalized with severe injuries suffered in a grain bin accident near Windom.
The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office said Travis Muller, 30, was working in a grain bin Sunday afternoon when his legs got caught in the power sweep auger. Deputies said Muller was removed from the auger and airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital with severe leg injuries.
According to a GoFundMe post, Muller had his left leg amputated above the knee and his right leg below the knee.
More than $50,000 has been raised for his medical expenses.
