LE ROY, MN – A wandering cow is blamed for causing a two-car crash Saturday night near the Iowa border in Mower County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by Jolee Nelson of Austin and Amy Tienter of Lime Springs, Iowa both hit the cow on Highway 56 and then crashed into each other.
Tienter was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and Nelson wasn’t hurt. The report doesn’t say whether the cow survived.
