MINNEAPOLIS – Two St. Paul men pleaded guilty to assaulting a federal law enforcement officer during a drug deal in March.
According to prosecutors, an undercover officer arranged to buy 1,600 fentanyl pills from Dion Miller and Adam Harris, but they planned to rob him.
Court records show that Miller pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the officer’s face and torso, and demanded money before the officer threw down some cash and left.
Investigators followed Miller and Harris to a St. Paul home where they recovered the gun and the $2,400 taken from the officer.
