(KFGO/KNFL) Hankinson native and former NDSU standout Cody Mauch has signed a four-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mauch was the last of Tampa’s 2023 NFL Draft class to sign a deal.
Reports have the rookie contract worth $7.4 million, including a signing bonus of just over $2.4 million.
Mauch played left tackle during his time at NDSU, but is projected to move to guard to replace Shaq Mason, who was traded to Houston in the offseason.
Mauch was a second-round pick by Tampa Bay in this spring’s 2023 NFL Draft, 48th overall. He was a consensus FCS All-American and chosen as the FCS Offensive Linemen of the Year.
