FARGO (KFGO) – An assault outside the Salvation Army in downtown Fargo closed part of the 300 block of Roberts Street midday Monday.
Police responded to the report of an assault just before noon. Police say the victim suffered a non-life threatening stab wound and was taken to a Fargo hospital.
A suspect was quickly detained and arrested. He’s identified as 58-year-old Wendell Jefferies.
Jefferies was arrested for aggravated assault. The Cass County State’s Attorneys Office will consider other potential charges.
