MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – A Dilworth woman is in jail after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase Monday morning that started in Wilkin County and ended in Moorhead.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Wilkin County deputies were pursuing 28-year-old Amber Jahner on I-94 and requested help from Clay County after Barnesville Police were unable to stop Jahner using stop sticks.
Jahner turned north onto Old Highway 52 where the chase reached speeds of 100 miles per hour. Minnesota State troopers deployed another set of stop sticks, but were unable to stop Jahner.
The chase continued into Sabin where Dilworth Police deployed a third set of stop sticks that flattened all four of Jahner’s tires, but she continued to flee into Moorhead.
Once in Moorhead, a deputy used a PIT maneuver on 34th Street and the vehicle stopped.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said Jahner was uncooperative and taken into custody.
Jahner is in the Clay County Jail facing charges of fleeing and a drug charge.
