MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO/WCCO) – Fourth of July chaos erupted in Minneapolis on Tuesday night.
Crowds gathered and shot off fireworks at Boom Island Park, the scene of a Fourth of July shooting last year where seven people were injured.
Videos posted online show those shooting off fireworks Tuesday night aiming them at nearby cars, pedestrians, homes and law enforcement responding to the scene.
Minneapolis police along with multiple Minnesota State Patrol troopers were at Boom Island Park, as well as Bde Maka Ska, in an effort to subdue the unruly crowds.
