MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – The name has been released of a 22-year-old man who died Friday morning when the pickup truck crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into an overhead sign concrete embankment.
Ivan Campos, of the Minot Air Force Base, was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 83 Bypass in Minot around 6 AM when the pickup crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a sign overhead piling. Weather conditions were foggy at the time of the crash.
Minot Fire Department, Minot Rural Fire Department, Trinity First Response, Ward County Sheriff’s Office, and Minot PD assisted the NDHP.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
