FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo woman is accused of defrauding a vulnerable adult she was caring for out of over $8,000.
According to Fargo Police, the victim reported several unauthorized purchases on her credit card statement. Investigators identified 22-year-old Racelia Gbla as a person of interest.
Gbla is a home health care provider and was helping the victim with medical needs. She is accused of using the victim’s personal information to make fraudulent online purchases.
Investigators interviewed a resident at the address where the items were shipped and seized several packages.
When Gbla was arrested Tuesday, she had one of the victim’s checks.
Gbla is facing charges of Exploiting a Vulnerable Adult, Unauthorized Use of Personal Information, Theft, and Illegal Used of a Credit Card.
