NORTONVILLE, N.D. (KFGO) – One teenager from Jamestown was seriously injured and another suffered minor injuries in a crash about 20 miles south of Jamestown Friday afternoon.
According to the State Patrol, a 17-year-old boy was northbound on Highway 281 in a car and an 18-year-old man was eastbound in a pickup on Highway 46.
The driver of the pickup, Aaron Forvilly of Jamestown, failed to yield at the intersection and the car crashed into the pickup’s passenger side, causing the pickup to hit a power pole.
The 17-year-old boy suffered serious injuries. Both teens were taken by ambulance to the hospital in Jamestown.
Forvilly was cited for failing to yield. The crash is under investigation.
