DAYTON, Minn. – Authorities are investigating a weekend fire in Dayton that left one person and three cats dead.
Crews from Dayton, Rogers and Osseo found heavy smoke coming from the mobile home Saturday and were told the homeowner may still be inside. Firefighters found the victim near the front door.
The state fire marshal’s office is assisting local investigators in trying to determine the cause.
