WEST FARGO (KFGO) – The State Patrol has released the name of a man who died when his motorcycle was struck by an SUV in West Fargo shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
31-year-old Thomas Fradet of Fargo was traveling west on Main Avenue on a motorcycle. He was attempting to make a left turn to 17th Street East when he was T-boned by the SUV driven by 28-year-old Taquoya Saldana who was traveling east. Witnesses told the State Patrol the SUV vehicle was speeding.
Fradet was ejected and was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he died.
Saldana and a passenger in the SUV were not injured. Both are from West Fargo.
Saldana has been charged with Driving Under the Influence. The State Patrol said further charges are possible as the crash remains under investigation.
