UPDATED AT 10:45 a.m.:
FARGO (KFGO) – I-29 and I-94 have reopened in North Dakota, but I-29 remains closed from the North Dakota border to Watertown, South Dakota.
Several other stretches of highways have closed in southeastern North Dakota. That includes Highway 46 between I-29 and Highway 30 and Highway 281 between Jamestown and the South Dakota border.
North Dakota Department of Transportation Maintenance Supervisor Kent Leysring said snow, ice, and vehicles in the ditch forced the closures.
In South Dakota, several highways in the far northeastern corner of the state are closed.
