ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Burnsville man busted with 800 fentanyl pills at the Olmsted County jail is sentenced to more than five years in prison.
According to prosecutors, Abdimajid Mohamed, 24, received a 65-month sentence after pleading guilty to drug charges.
The State Patrol said Mohamed was stopped near Pine Island last August and admitted to taking fentanyl two hours before getting pulled over. He was taken into custody on a warrant, and was caught at the jail with 800 counterfeit oxycodone pills that later tested positive for fentanyl.
Mohamed was also arrested in April with 600 fentanyl pills and a handgun.
