THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. (KFGO) – Five of six people traveling in a pickup were injured when their vehicle crashed on Highway 59 near Thief River Falls around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Highway Patrol says the vehicle spun out of control on the ice-covered highway, went off the road, and rolled in the ditch.
One adult and four children were transported by ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls with injuries that were not life-threatening. The children range in age from 9 to 14 years old.
All six in the pickup are from Winnipeg.
