EMERADO, N.D. (KFGO) – A New Year’s Eve fire destroyed a mobile home in Emerado, North Dakota.
The Emerado Fire Department responded to the blaze shortly after 10:30 p.m. When crews arrived on scene the structure was engulfed in flames. All the occupants of the home escaped without injury. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
One firefighter was treated on the scene for a minor injury and was able to return to duty,
The home was a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
The Emerado Fire Department was assisted by the Grand Forks Air Force Base Fire Department, Emerado Police, Grand Forks Sheriff’s Department, The Air Base Medical Group, and Altru Hospital.
