(KFGO/KNFL) The 24-team FCS playoff bracket was released this morning. Missouri Valley Football Conference champion South Dakota State received the #1 overall seed.
NDSU is the #3 seed. The Bison receive a first-round bye and will play the winner of a first-round game with Southeast Missouri St at Montana on December 3 at the Fargodome. Those two teams play next Saturday night in Missoula, MT.
UND is in the postseason. The Fighting Hawks (7-4) travel to Ogden, UT to face Weber State (9-2). Kickoff set for 3:00, Central Time this Saturday. The winner will travel to Bozeman, MT to meet #4 seed Montana State on December 3.
The FCS National Championship Game will be played January 8 in Frisco, TX.
