WYNDMERE, N.D. (KFGO) – Richland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal SUV and motorcycle crash at the intersection of State Highways 13 and 18 on Saturday around 2:08 p.m. The SUV was traveling eastbound on Hwy 13 and slowed to turn left onto Hwy 18 northbound.
The motorcycle was westbound on Hwy 13, approaching the intersection when the SUV turned left in front of the bike. The front right corner of the SUV struck the front of the motorcycle, throwing the rider off the bike. Troy Green, 53, of Breckenridge died at the scene. The driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old woman from Forman, N.D., was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
