(KFGO/KNFL) As the North Dakota Class 11A & 11AA high school football playoffs begin this weekend, the final state rankings were released. The rankings are votes on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters (NDAPSSA).
In Class 11AA, West Fargo Sheyenne is the unanimous top team, as the Mustangs secured the #1 seed for the postseason after defeating Mandan last Thursday. Bismarck Legacy enters the rankings at #4 after a win at Fargo Davies.
In Class A, Fargo South made the biggest jump. The Bruins moved up two spots to second after a 7-3 win over Valley City on Friday. Red River remains in the top spot.
