GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A 28-year old Grand Forks woman faces several charges – including attempted murder – after a dispute with her mother.
Grand Forks Police were called early this morning on a report of a domestic disturbance with injury. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 61-year-old woman suffering from lacerations and a puncture wound.
Authorities say Jenna Woinarowicz was upset with her mother, identified as Robin Hendrickson.
Police say Hendrickson attempted to leave by going outside when Woinarowicz assaulted her with an edged weapon.
Hendrickson was transported to Altru Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
In addition to the attempted murder charge, Woinarowicz faces counts of aggravated assault and interfering with an emergency call.
