SEATTLE, WA – Searchers using sonar think they may have located the wreckage of a crashed float plane in the Puget Sound area near Seattle.
A Twin Cities couple was on the plane that went down during an aerial tour September 2. Ten people were killed including Luke and Rebecca Ludwig, both 42 years old, of Excelsior. The search for survivors ended last Monday.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating why the plane crashed into Mutiny Bay, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Seattle.
