(KNOX) The Lamoureux (LAM-uh-roo) twins of Grand Forks will be enshrined in the U-S Hockey Hall of Fame.
Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson and Monique Lamoureux-Morando will enter the Hall during ceremonies Nov. 30 at RiverCentre in St. Paul.
The sisters played 14 years with the U-S National Team, winning Olympic gold medals in 2018… and silver medals in 2010 and 2014.
They also won six gold medals in the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
The Lamoureuxs played one season of college hockey at Minnesota, followed by three seasons at UND.
They also played pro hockey with the Minnesota Whitecaps from 2015 to 2017.
Also entering the Hall this year are the late longtime USA Hockey executive Jim Johannson… former Hobey Baker Award winner and NHL goalie Ryan Miller…and paralympic goalie Steve Cash.
