FARGO (KFGO) – A man police say was wanted in the August 6 shooting of a man in Fargo was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Braden Poitra, 21, with no permanent address, was taken into custody without incident in Dilworth.
Poitra was arrested on an unrelated felony warrant issued through the Minnesota Department of Corrections. He is being held in the Clay County Jail on a charge of attempted murder for his involvement in the shooting Saturday in the 3300 block of 35th Ave. S in Fargo. The victim was shot in the arm.
The Fargo Police Department worked with the Moorhead Police Department, the Cass and Clay County Sheriff’s Offices, and the U.S. Marshals Service in making the arrest.
