FARGO (KFGO/KVRR)- Representatives with Metro Cog say they’re considering University Drive and Tenth Street, where they are on-ways from 13th Ave So to 19th Ave No for possible reconstruction due to the heavy traffic it sees and its connections with the downtown project.
Representatives with Metro Cog say they’re considering this part of the city due to the heavy traffic it sees and its connections with the downtown project.
They say it’s not a done deal that the one-way roads may be converted into two ways. However, it’s something they’re considering. Public input is being requested for things like how streets are used and where there might be safety concerns or traffic flow interruptions.
“It’s not just looking at redevelopment potential of the two corridors but also preservation. Where along the corridor is there a desire to keep things as they are,” said Cindy Gray, Metro Cog.
Later this month, consultants and planners on the project will leave survey information and upcoming meetings on a business website and home door handle for public input.
