Easter is coming and I never thought this could be a thing but it makes sense. Dog for Christmas – Rabbit for Easter.
If you are planning to buy your kid a pet rabbit for Easter? You might want to rethink that because rabbits are high-maintenance, and it can cost $300 or more to have them spayed or neutered. Apparently, if you don’t get them fixed they get aggressive and could bite your child.
Bunnies bought as Easter gifts are domestic rabbits that have no survival skills, and usually, once people realize they are a lot of work, they set the bunny free. People think they can survive on their own in the wild but they don’t last long in the wild because they don’t have the survival skills and require different diets.
That’s why it might be a better idea to skip the real rabbit, and buy your kid a chocolate one instead.
