ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – Communities across Minnesota are hoping to get some of the state’s projected $9.3 billion budget surplus.
Bradley Peterson with the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities is urging state lawmakers to consider a 90-million-dollar increase in local government aid to help cities with the costs that they have and to restrain property taxes.
Peterson is also appealing to lawmakers to address other critical infrastructure needs throughout the state with this year’s bonding bill.
