BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Minnesota Department of Public Safety Assistant Commissioner Booker Hodges is leaving the state this spring for a new position as police chief in Bloomington.
Hodges currently oversees the Minnesota Patrol, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division.
Before coming to DPS, he was chief of police in Prior Lake and served in the Ramsey and Dakota County sheriff’s offices.
Hodges says he’s looking forward to working with the women and men of the Bloomington Police Department.
