ST. PAUL, Minn. – Governor Tim Walz says a new federal COVID-19 testing site opens Tuesday at the Minnesota Department of Transportation building in St. Paul.
The site is expected to provide up to a thousand tests per day in response to the high demand during the COVID omicron surge. Nasal swab P-C-R tests will be available for all ages.
State Health Commissioner Jan Malcom said this additional testing capacity will help Minnesotans quickly get the information they need to reduce the spread.
Appointments are recommended. Free parking is available in the MnDOT parking ramp F.
