We’re only a few weeks into 2022, but there are already baby names that are SO popular, they’re flooding hospitals all over the U.S. According to babycenter.com, the trend is showing more gender-neutral names, for both boys and girls, like Riley, Dylan, and Avery.
As of right now, the number one baby name for girls in the U.S. is Emma, but more unique names like Aurora and Athena are slowly creeping up the list. The top name for boys is Noah, along with other more traditional names, like Lucas, James, and Benjamin. I’m a bit surprised to see names like Waylon and Sebastian – I love the revival of older names, though. Nothing is cuter than a little toddler waddling around with the name Penelope or Doug.
What went into naming your kids? Do you have a kiddo who’s named one of the top names in the U.S.? Let me know below!
XOXO, Alyssa
