IT’S GIRL SCOUT COOKIE SEASON!
I always keep the freezer stocked with some of the best cookies on the planet: Girl Scout cookies. And this year, the Girl Scouts have partnered with DoorDash to make ordering your favorites even easier in 2022.
Before, you had to have connections to an adorable little neighborhood Brownie to get your cookie fix. But, Girl Scouts announced that they’re going to work with DoorDash in various locations to for an option to make ordering your year-supply of Thin Mints simple, quick, and contact-free. Starting in February, just search “Girl Scouts” in the DoorDash app to get hooked up with your local troop – and the list will be updated frequently, so if you can’t find anyone to order from, check the app a few days later to look for updates.
There are 12 different flavors of Girl Scout cookies to choose from, including selections that are gluten-free and vegan. Grab a couple boxes of your favorites: Shortbread (Trefoils), Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Sandwich (Do-si-dos), Caramel deLites (Samoas), Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalogs), the new Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Girl Scout S’mores, Lemonades, Lemon-ups, Toast-Yays!, or Toffee-tastic.
If you’re vegan, try Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Lemonades, and Toast-Yay! cookies. There’s TWO gluten-free options on the roster this year, too: Toffee-tastic and Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies. Even reading this list of all of the available cookies is making me want to devour an entire box of Samoas.
In addition to the DoorDash collab, here are all of your options to order your Girl Scout cookies this year: As always, if you know a registered Girl Scout, reach out to her to support the mini business woman; OR you can text ‘COOKIES’ to 59618, visit www.girlscoutcookies.org, or download the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder app to find local cookie booths being set up around your area.
I cannot WAIT to order my boxes of Caramel deLites and Girl Scout S’mores cookies. What Girl Scout cookie is YOUR favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
XOXO, Alyssa
