MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Two men were arrested south of Moorhead following a pursuit where a floor jack and propane tank were thrown from a car.
The car, that took off from Moorhead Police, was spotted by a Clay County deputy.
Near the intersection of Highway 75 and 70th Ave., the deputy activated his lights. The driver fled at speeds of up to 100 mph. The car went over the top of the roundabout at 60th Ave. The officer was then able to use a pursuit technique to bring the pursuit to an end.
The driver, 24-year-old Terrell Jones of Moorhead, was arrested for fleeing, assault and having ammunition as a felon. His passenger, 29-year-old Christopher Cloud of Moorhead, was booked into jail on an assault charge.
The chase began shortly before midnight Wed.
