I love everything about Christmas – the baking, gift-giving, decorating, and even all of the time spent with family. But even I’M not this creative.
Monika Orrey from California decided she was gonna dominate the competition in her office decorating competition. She spent EIGHT HOURS constructing a life-sized gingerbread house, converting her cubicle into a winter wonderland. She bought several of her decorations from the dollar store, and DIY-ed her way into winning best cubicle in the office, using a cardboard house front and tons of sparkling lights and garland. She said all of that time spent in the office on that Sunday was totally worth how excited her office mates were – some of them even brought their kids in to hang out in her gingerbread creation.
The only thing that would have been more impressive about Monika’s cubicle would be if it was made of ACTUAL gingerbread – but if that was my office, I probably would have eaten the entire thing before Christmas arrived.
If you want to see pictures and more information on Monika’s INCREDIBLE creativity, you can see that here.
Do you have an eye for holiday decorating? I have a mini Christmas tree in my office, so I obviously know how to be festive. 😜
XOXO, Alyssa
