SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Former South Dakota governor and attorney general Frank Farrar died Sunday at the age of 92.
Farrar was elected attorney general in 1962 at the age of 33 and was elected governor in 1968, serving one two-year term.
A Korean War veteran, Farrar earned a reputation for physical fitness late in his life, competing in triathlons and Ironman competitions into his eighties.
