RED LAKE CO. MINN. (KFGO) – Authorities say a law enforcement trail camera placed by federal agents resulted in the arrest of Eric Reinbold, the suspect wanted for the murder of his wife, Lissette Reinbold of Oklee, Minnesota.
According to Pennington County Sheriff Ray Kuznia, Tuesday night, agents were alerted to movement in front of the trail camera that had been set up in a wooded area off of a county road not far from Reinbold’s parent’s property. This area had been searched by law enforcement in the days following his disappearance.
Authorities surrounded the area and found Reinbold hiding in the woods near an abandoned homestead and was taken into custody without incident early Wednesday.
A bail hearing has been set for this Friday in Thief River Falls. Reinbold is charged with second-degree murder. He was also being sought by the U.S, Marshals Service for violating the terms of his release from federal prison.
