FARGO (KFGO) – In a rare special meeting, Fargo City Commissioners have voted to immediately suspend the liquor license of African International Restaurant and Nightclub.
The suspension will be in effect for 60 days. It came after a recommendation earlier this week from the city liquor control board for a two-month license suspension.
The move follows ongoing police calls to the bar at 7th Avenue E and 45th St. over the past couple of months and the shooting death of a security guard in the parking lot in late May.
No one has been arrested in the shooting.
