SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KFGO KELO) – From the start of the pandemic last March through this past March, Sioux Falls’ construction employment did not change.
That’s according to a survey by the Associated General Contractors.
203 metro areas saw declines. Sioux Falls construction employment remained steady at 8,500 workers from March 2020 to March 2021.
Fargo had the second-highest gain in construction employment during the same period. Fargo gained 1,800 workers for a 24% gain.
