MINOT, N.D. – The Grafton Spoilers advanced to the North Dakota State Class B boys basketball semifinals with a 66-28 win over Powers Lake on Thursday.
Grafton held Powers Lake to a season-low scoring for a contest and shot 14-29 from beyond the arc. Justin Garza scored 21 points and went 5-9 from the three-point line.
Brandon Albrecht added 15 points and 9 rebounds while Stevan Garza chipped in 13 points for the Spoilers.
Carter Rystedt guided Powers Lake with 8 points and 5 rebounds. The Ranchers (22-3 overall) will play in the consolation semifinals at noon.
Grafton (23-2 overall) will play the winner of Edgley-Kulm-Montpelier/Rugby in the state semifinals on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. from the Minot State Dome.
