The No. 2 seed in the Girls State Class B tournament, Grafton Spoilers dominated the Glenburn Panthers 65-33 to advance to their second straight state Class B semifinal appearance. The Spoilers were led by senior Julia Dusek with 19 points with a trio of made 3 pointers. Grafton will now play the winner of the Kenmare – Wilton-Wing quarterfinal game.

In addition to Dusek’s impressive performance, Reagan Hanson and Cassie Erickson also scored in the double figures with 10 points each for Grafton. The Spoilers defense also had a strong presence in today’s game, as they only allowed Glenburn to score more than 10 points in one quarter. Grafton is now 23-2 on the season and will play again on March 5th at 6:30 PM in the Minot State University Dome.
Glenburn was led in scoring by Lorelei McIver with 13 points, and the only other Panther to score in double figures was McKenna Rolland with 10. This state tournament appearance was also the first in school history for Glenburn. The Panthers are now 23-3 this season and they will play in the consolation bracket against the loser of the Kenmare – Wilton-Wing game at noon on March 5th.
