MOORHEAD (KFGO) – A Fargo man was taken to the Clay County jail after he tried to get away from a deputy north of Moorhead early Thurs. morning.
The deputy attempted to stop a car driven by 19-year-old Braden Muck near Kragnes. muck took off at high speed on County Hwy. 26. Another deputy deployed stop sticks at the intersection with County Road 11. Muck’s car eventually left the road and became stuck in the ditch. He was arrested for fleeing and underage drinking and driving.
A passenger, a 20-year-old Fargo man, was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Norman County.
Sheriff Mark Empting said Muck fled at speeds that reached 100 mph.
