CASSELTON – Central Cass kept their undefeated season alive with a 68-20 win over the Lisbon Broncos on Monday night.
Central Cass held Lisbon to one made field goal in the opening 8 minutes of the game.
Decontee Smith led the Squirrels (19-0 overall) with 17 points, Jaylin Cotton added 14 points and Delany Cotton chipped in 10 points.
Asha Sweet paced Lisbon (13-7 overall) with 9 points on the night. Lisbon enters the Region 1 girls basketball tournament as the No. 4 seed and will Wyndmere/Lidgerwood or Oak Grove in the quarterfinals on Monday, February 22 at 4:30 p.m. from the North Dakota State College of Science.
Central Cass closes out the regular season on Thursday against Thompson. The Squirrels head into the Region 1 Tournament as the No. 1 seed and will play the winner of Tri-State/Hankinson at 3 p.m. on February 22.
