New Year Holiday Schedules for City Offices, Fargo Cass Public Health, Fargo Libraries, MATBUS and Garbage & Recycling Collections
FARGO, N.D. (Dec. 30, 2020) – The City of Fargo offices, Fargo Cass Public Health, Fargo Public Libraries, MATBUS routes and garbage & recycling collections will be impacted by the January 1 New Year holiday. The following closures and service changes will be in effect Thursday, Dec. 31 and Friday, Jan. 1
Thursday, Dec. 31:
- City offices and Fargo Cass Public Health: Regular Hours
- Fargo Public Library (all branches): Closes at 6 p.m.
- MATBUS: Regular Routes
- Garbage and recycling collections: Regular routes
- Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility: Regular hours
Friday, Jan. 1:
- City offices and Fargo Cass Public Health: Closed
- Fargo Public Library (all branches): Closed
- MATBUS: No services
- Garbage and recycling collections: Friday routes will be collected Thursday
- Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility: Closed
City of West Fargo Christmas and New Year’s Day closures and garbage schedule changes
(WEST FARGO, N.D. – Dec. 18, 2020) The City of West Fargo is closed Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, in observance of New Year’s Day. These holidays affect city services in the following ways:
- Thursday, Dec. 31, and Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, garbage will be collected Thursday, Dec. 31.
- Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, recycling will be collected Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.
Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, all municipal government buildings are closed to the public, including City Hall, Public Library, Sanitation, Public Works and the Transfer Station. Public safety agencies are in full operation but the West Fargo Police and Fire Departments remain closed to the public on these days.
