ST. PAUL, MINN. (KFGO) – An East Grand Forks restaurant and two other establishments elsewhere in Minnesota are in trouble with the state for violating the COVID order banning in-person service.
The State Department of Health issued a cease-and-desist order and license suspension notice to Joe’s Diner in East Grand Forks. Investigators say the diner was serving food on December 17th and a server was not wearing a mask and a follow-up inspection five days later found the business was again open for on-site food and beverage service.
Businesses in Milaca and Adrian were also served cease-and-desist orders and license suspensions for similar violations.
