OMAHA, NE – North Dakota State University jumped out to an early 8-3 lead in the opening minutes against No. 11 Creighton from the CHI Health Center on Sunday.
The Blue Jays responded with a 17-4 run of their own over the next 6 minutes and 14 seconds and never looked back in a 69-58 win over the Bison.
Creighton scored 16 points off 16 NDSU turnovers.
Chrisitan Bishop scored a team-high 16 points and was one of four Blue Jays who scored in double digits.
Rocky Kreuser paced the Bison with 16 points on 7 of 12 shooting, with 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
NDSU drops to 0-3 overall for the first time since the 2004-05 season.
