MOORHEAD, MINN. (KFGO) – Minnesota State University Moorhead’s unofficial, 10-day enrollment numbers show an overall drop in undergraduate students while the number of graduate students is up slightly. That sets a new record for the number of graduate students.
There are 5,532 undergraduate students, down 3.5 percent, or 202 students from Fall 2019. There are 1,092 graduate students, up 15 from Fall 2019.
MSUM also saw a record summer enrollment of 3,015 students.
The university says the goal this fall has been to offer as many face-to-face classes as safely possible at just over 50% with the remainder being on-line.
There are fewer students living on campus this fall. There’s been an increase in residence hall single rooms and space has been made for students in isolation or quarantine as a result of COVID-19.
